Movie Time…
The theater room is a great place to watch a movie and relax. Follow these instructions in this order to make it all work…
You will find all remotes in the arm rest storage box on the couch (see below). If any remotes are missing, check the top left drawer of the counter area.
#1 - Lower the screen
Using the Screen Remote, point it at the left side of the screen and click the down button. Might take a few times pointing & pressing to get screen down.
#2 - Turn on the receiver and select your input
Using the Receiver Remote, point it at the projector on the ceiling. Press the power button followed by either the “BD” button for FireTV, or “DVD” for playing a DVD.
This remote also CONTROLS THE VOLUME by pointing it at the projector on the ceiling.
#3 - Turn on the projector
Using the Projector Remote, point it at the projector on the ceiling and press the “power on” button. It may take up to a minute or so for an image to appear on the screen.
#4A - Streaming services/FireTV
Make sure the receiver is set to “BD” on the Receiver Remote.
Use the FireTV Remote pointed at the screen.
#4B (OPTIONAL) - DVD Viewing
Make sure the receiver is set to “DVD” on the Receiver Remote.
To watch a DVD, the DVD player is just inside the storage room door immediately on your left below the receiver. Use the DVD Remote to control the DVD player. Unfortunately the door must be open for the DVD Remote to work.
Once your movie has started, you can close the storage room door and use the Receiver Remote to control the volume.
When finished…
Turn off the projector - using the Projector Remote pointed at the projector, press the ‘Standby’ button. Wait for a message on the screen to press the ‘Standby’ button a second time.
Turn off the receiver - using the Receiver Remote pointed at the projector, press the ‘Receiver’ power button.
Place the screen in the up position - using the Screen Remote, point to the top left of the screen and press the ‘up’ button.
